Precast concrete stairs are a great alternative to other products within a full precast concrete system. Some of their benefits are that they are self-supporting and can be quickly and efficiently installed. By installing concrete stairs in the construction phase, efficiencies are gained as these can continue to be utilized for their intended purpose in a finished structure.
Quick to Install & Efficient
Stairwells require an increased level of fire protection which concrete stairs easily achieve this with their superior fire protection. The risers and runs of stairs are between 6-7” and 11” respectively, based on the building Code of Canada. An anti-slip feature can be fixed to the concrete stair or embedded in the concrete as per architectural requirements. Precast stairs are an excellent option for schools, hotels, condos, health centres or any other multi-level buildings.
